This inspection is conducted on existing homes for resale. What’s inspected: Foundation, Roof Covering, Exterior and Interior, Electrical systems, HVAC systems, Plumbing Systems, Attic Space, Insulation, Windows and Doors, Built-in Appliances as well as neglected maintenance issues.
New Construction Inspection
This inspection is conducted on new homes at the end of construction. Although the builder conducts quality control during construction, With the number of homes being built today, many times issues can be and are overlooked. The inspected areas are the same as the home inspection.
Wood Destroying Organism Inspection (WDO Inspection)*
A WDO (wood destroying organism) inspection is a visible inspection on a home or structure for infestation or damage by wood destroying organisms. WDO (wood destroying organisms) include subterranean and dry-wood termites, Powder Post beetles, Old House Borers and wood decaying fungi.

4-Point Insurance Inspection
Not all homes will require a 4-point inspection. Most insurance providers are requiring these inspections on homes older than 20 years or homes that are transferring coverage from one provider to another. This inspection includes the general look at and report of the 4 major components of a home: Roof Covering, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC System. It is recommended to contact your insurance provider to see if a 4-point inspection is required.
Wind Mitigation Inspection
The following information is collected during an inspection, The age of the home determines what building code was in place at the time of construction, the age of the roof, documentation to prove if the roof was installed to any certain building code, the roof deck attachment, roof to wall connection, roof shape, existence of a SWR and the opening protection of the doors and windows. A homeowner with a wind mitigation report can submit the results of the inspection to their insurer to obtain discounts on their windstorm insurance. In Florida, for example, premium discounts for certain favorable wind mitigation features are mandated by State law and can total 45% of the original policy's premium depending on the inspection findings.
11 Month Warranty Inspection
This inspection is conducted on new homes in the 11-month of the home warranty period. All newly constructed homes are warranted by the builder for 12 months. This inspection is the same as standard home inspection and any issues found can be brought to the builder before the 12- month warranty expires.
